New storage system based on lithium batteries. The main feature which drives the development of the converter is the fault ride through capability.
Main innovations:
Problem: The proliferation of electronically coupled sources and storage elements across the LV networks, raises new challenges for them in terms of reliability and functionality, aiming to preserve the reliability classically offered by those networks in the near past.
Solution: Develop a state-of-the-art three-phase inverter, with rugged and high-performance hardware solutions, which includes several fault-tolerant mechanisms to resist to several different abnormal condition that can occur in the LV network, such as voltage sags, short-circuits, unbalance, etc.
